Country

Denmark

Work week used for FTE calculation: 37 hours. Other comments: data from 2015 onwards do not include sickness benefit recipients who receive unemployment benefits during the first 14 days of sick leave. The Sickness Benefit Act was changed temporarily during covid. As a result, the share of the labour force receiving sickness benefits was higher in 2020-2022. The labour force is defined as persons aged 16-66 with a connection to the labor market.

Sweden

The following work week is used for FTE calculation: the sum of all days (full time/part-time)) during a year divided by 365.
