Recipients of disability pension for a given month in per cent of age group. Included are recipients of statutory disability pensions as basic/minimum pensions and/or supplementary/employment pensions/earnings-related pensions. All applicable age groups are included and therefore varies slightly across countries. Counted as recipients of disability benefits at a specified month around year-end. Relevant age group and month of calculation is specified in country-note.

Method of counting used for data collected in 2020 and onwards: Number of recipients in a given year is counted as the number of recipients by December the same year.

Iceland

Until 2010, individuals from 16 years could receive diability pension. Therfore, the age group 18-19 years also includes 16-17 years olds for 2010 and earlier.
