The age groups in the Faroese statistics are 7-13 and 14-17 years

Norway

The level of children and adolescents taken into care outside the home during the year 2013 is too high. After an extensive change of the statistics in 2013 there were too many placements in institutions reported.
From 2021 the numbers from Norway are calculated by year-end, earlier years they are calculated during the year.

Sweden

From year 2014, asylum seekers are not included
No data 2017 due to problems with data quality
